The Challenge AIDS and Malaria, CHAMA Worldwide family, a Faith Based, Christian Humanitarian Organization is set to present her annual program “The Reason for the season”, a spiritual exercise for her numerous members aimed at refocusing their faith towards the real purpose for celebration of Christmas which is in commemoration of the sacrifice of birth and death of Jesus Christ, and the salvation thereof.
It’s a program that centers on bringing Christ, whose post humus birthday we celebrate in this season back at the center of the season. We have replaced Christ with our own selfish and self-centered agenda, and penchant for materialism which has led to all kinds of evils and manipulations in the church.
How do we bring Christ back to the focus? To answer this question, we need to ask ourselves: what was the life of Jesus like? What activities defined Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry? Christ’s life was total and sacrificial services to humanity, going about doing good -Acts 10: 38 and without expecting anything in return for the Kingdom’s sake.
However, brother Paul says he is in a constant battle and struggles to keep focused in trying to keep doing good. There is always a clash between his inner mind and his flesh, his spiritual man, and his flesh. Romans 7: 19 “For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do”. This brings us to our theme this year THE ULTIMATE CLASH
It’s going to be a 3-day power packed ultimate clash between the forces of good and evil, spirit and flesh and when greater power clashes with lesser power, the lesser power of flesh and sin bows and that marks the liberation of mankind. When mankind is liberated, he is liberated above sins and sorrows, above the power of flesh and above greed. He can now do the will of him that called him, sharing Goodness seamlessly and joyfully knowing that eternal reward awaits him.
ULTIMATE CLASH
Jacob had ultimate clash with the Angels and his life was no longer the same both physically and spiritually. Spiritually, his name was changed and physically, his hip shifted. There shall be a shift in these 3 days ULTIMATE CLASHES as you minster in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
“This year we shall make it swift and sweet with 3 speakers a day, speaking 30 minutes per speaker. It shall be hot ministration from the alter. We will have speakers from South Africa, Canada, UK, Canada, USA, Nigeria. ETC” says the CHAMA CEO/Founder, Dr Olugu Ukpai, the convener.
