In life, it’s easy either to lose focus or to become complacent. While the former is because of lack of strong self will, the latter is lack of vision.
It takes focused and Visionary Leaders to drive a team and vision even if everyone else says otherwise. It takes selfless sacrificial humanitarian leaders, who devoid of any political interest, to champion a selfless cause.
WARRIOR BLESSING OKOI
This is true of Warrior Blessing Okoi, a steady, focused and Visionary coordinator of Abuja chapter. Last two weeks, she rose up and decided that Abuja chapter need to break the jinx of talking without walking. She took the bull by the horn and God granted her brand new shock absorbers to absorb the shock of many disappointments.
When she announced it, no one responded besides the outreach coordinator, warrior Esther, a community and public health practitioner.
Those who private chatted to attend didn’t show up nor send any goodwill. That didn’t deter Visionary and focused coordinator She went and bought all much needed medicine and other supplies for she said to me “MOM, I have resigned from that private work and am now ready to work for the master.
Warrior Esther, the outreach coordinator who, like the Esther of the old declared, if l perish, let me perish She was supposed to go a business trip, but she canceled it, and prepared for the outreach. Warrior Esther has an excellent spirit when it comes to mission. Mission turns her on. She can go on days without food but send her on a mission. In her Church, she’s a strong member of the medical team. She brought such needed machines from her church and the mission was stoop for Conquer.
GOD TAPPED INTO HIS BENCH OF WARRIORS
During the ongoing leadership training, Warrior Professor Stewart Mbah resealed to the leaders that God has a bench full player ls as good as the first 11. By implications, God has better substitutes. God doesn’t lack any resources .
Warrior Blessing Okoi, went out and mobilized her church members. These woman are called “Women, the home builders but l have changed their name to Women, the mission builders These women were the BENCH WARRIORS that nobody saw. These women were the 70,000 prophets that God never revealed until the need for a strategic deployment for Goodness sake.
These women came from Glory Temple Christian Center They showed up with Glory as their names implies.
They rallied round for resources and raised money and with support from CHAMA, medications were bought, testing stripes for malaria and Diabetes were bought and over 150 children and adults received various medical attention all to the glory of God.
DISAPPOINTMENTS AS AN OPPORTUNITY
“Until you grow into seeing disappointment as an opportunity, you may never see the promised land like Moses’, tweet it. When people stepped down, God steps up.
Those children treated weren’t the coordinator’s brothers or sisters, or the outreach coordinator’s kinsmen. Rather, just like Jesus, *they had compassion on the sufferings of people and decided to move out of their comfort zone to give a succor to the weeping and weary souls *just for Goodness sake* and to the glory of God.
That’s the reason why we are at CHAMA, that no Goodness will die again needlessly to malaria and other poverty diseases.
Now you know just like the Holy Book have said that HE WHO WAIT FOR A PERFECT WEATHER WILL NEITHER SOW NOR REAP
Congratulations to the outreach coordinator, congratulations to the chapter coordinator, congratulations to Abuja chapter, congratulations to CHAMA worldwide family.
