THE BOOK: “Personal Reflection on 2023 Presidential Election: Bola Ahmed Tinubu—A Well-Deserved Victory (Critical Analysis on How the Jagaban Won and the Need for All to Support the President)” is an intellectual, journalistic, historical, and political analysis of what happened during the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria. It is an honest, dispassionate, and critical analysis of the entire event.
The book agrees that though the 2023 presidential election was very tough, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the election fairly. The process that produced him was credible and transparent, as many National and International Election Monitoring Groups/Observers confirmed. It uses three critical factors to completely debunk any allegation of rigging in favour of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In its overall analysis, the book stated clearly that 0f the eighteen presidential candidates, fourteen (Group 2) had not business running in the first place. Then the remaining four Candidates (Group 1), Atiku Abubakar, and Rabiu Kwankwaso had no chance at the 2023 election after eight uninterrupted years of President Buhari based on what is described as “National Sentiment”, which favoured only a Southern Candidate in 2023. The Book declares that the 2023 presidential election was really a straight fight between Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi. Accordingly, the book dispassionately analyzed Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi based on ten critical points; and concluded that Bola Tinubu outperformed Peter Obi on all points, hence the edge over him at the polls.
On the whole, the book appreciates that greater majority of Nigerians chose Senator Bola Tinubu ahead of others, not merely based on political party or in comparison with other candidates, but in recognition and appreciation of his many years of dedicated service and sacrifice to Nigeria, democracy and humanity; and like the late Bashorun M.K.O Abiola, his well-known acts of kindness and genuine love for all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity or religion.
The book concludes with appreciation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his amazing people oriented leadership in the last one year, and called on all Nigerians to support him for the betterment of all Nigerians.
