We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Uche Okafor as Director of Finance and Member of the Board of Governors of CHAMA.
With an impressive 20-year experience in financial and risk management, Mr. Okafor brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
As a seasoned banker, Mr. Okafor has successfully led two prominent Nigerian banks, Eco Bank and Union Bank. His extensive experience in financial management, risk assessment, and strategic planning will be invaluable assets to our organization.
Mr. Okafor’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra state, Nigeria, and a Post-degree Diploma in Business Management from Coast Mountain College, Canada.
Additionally, he has completed various certifications in First Aid, CPR, Naloxone Training, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, among others.
